About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments, interventions, and advice to patients across all sites and sectors of care. They will also contribute to the development, evaluation, and monitoring of operational policies and services within the trust.
Main Responsibilities- Clinical Practice: Provide specialist psychological assessments, therapies, and advice to patients, family members, and other professionals involved in patient care.
- Teaching, Training, and Supervision: Develop skills in post-graduate teaching, training, and supervision, and provide clinical supervision to junior staff.
- Management, Recruitment, Policy, and Service Development: Contribute to the development, evaluation, and monitoring of operational policies and services, manage workloads of junior staff, and lead on research projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Eligibility for Chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Proven experience in clinical psychology practice, teaching, and supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer:
