Music Director for Protestant Contemporary Service

LPR International seeks a skilled Music Director to support a contract at RAF Lakenheath. The successful candidate will provide music activities for the Protestant Contemporary Service, collaborating with the Contemporary Service Lead Chaplain. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing musical directorship for a minimum of 2 units per week
  • Assisting the Chaplain in developing music programs, including the annual calendar of events and budget
  • Singing music from religious publications and providing arranged music for worship services
  • Leading congregation in various styles of Protestant Worship

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of post-secondary education in music or equivalent experience in a chapel/church setting. Strong vocal leading and sight-reading skills are essential. The Music Director will work closely with the Chaplain to ensure compatibility with the type of worship service or other functions of the program.

Normal hours of performance will be limited to service-specific requirements, with flexibility to accommodate varying performance times. The successful candidate will be a Christian with a strong understanding of the Christian faith and its role in worship.
