Resident Meal Preparation Manager

Go To Outsourcing invites applications for a care home chef position, requiring a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our kitchen team. As a care home chef, you will contribute to the overall well-being of our residents by delivering exceptional meal preparation services tailored to their unique requirements.
An ideal candidate should possess 12+ months of experience as a head chef, accompanied by relevant certifications or an impressive portfolio of achievements in cooking English-based cuisine and managing kitchen operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include cooking for large groups, typically over 30 people, using fresh produce and traditional English dishes. You may be required to work extended hours, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and adapt to individual preferences by preparing alternative meals on request.
Effective time management, multitasking, and commercial kitchen equipment operation skills are crucial for success in this role. Experience working in a fast-paced catering environment and familiarity with IDDSI training are also beneficial.
