Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Operations Technical Secretary/Author. In this role, you will provide support to the Liabilities function, responsible for maintaining site infrastructure and utilities, as well as decommissioning and demolition of old buildings to make way for new modern facilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join AWE and contribute to our programme's success. As a Business Operations Technical Secretary/Author, you will play a crucial role in coordinating leadership, regulatory, customer and/or technical meetings, ensuring that preparatory and follow-up information and data is gathered, communicated, and issued and recorded formally in accordance with company arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of meetings, including notification, meeting planning, meeting packs, note taking, data gathering, data analysis, and action tracking.
  • Structural review and formatting of senior board papers and communications.
  • Consultation with key stakeholders and meeting contributors to ensure meeting packs and outputs are well informed and accurate.

Requirements:

  • A Level or equivalent qualification or equivalent on-the-job experience in a comparable field.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and experience of managing multiple tasks and stakeholders at any one time.
  • Experience in critical thinking/problem-solving mindset, excellent communication and stakeholder management approach, active listening skills, and ability to structure clear and concise leadership level reports, papers, and information packs.
  • Good analytical skills and able to interpret data sets to ensure appropriate action/response is taken.
  • Good document and configuration control.
