About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lettings Branch Manager to join our team at haart Estate Agents in Islington. As a Lettings Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of lettings professionals and driving business growth through exceptional customer service and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily meetings with the lettings team to discuss sales and marketing strategies
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitor and assess individual team member performance, including conducting one-to-one meetings
  • Encourage team development and progression
  • Focus on generating new and repeat business through strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Liaise with tenants and arrange property viewings in line with their needs
  • Negotiate offers and agree new tenancies
  • Ensure the business is risk-averse and follows the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within residential lettings at a senior negotiator position or higher
  • Ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and enjoyable working environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and action business plans relevant to the branch
  • Ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
  • Strong understanding of current legislation related to residential lettings
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive and high-volume workloads
  • Reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Good telephone manner
  • Strong IT skills (basic Microsoft packages)
  • Attention to detail
