Care Team Leader Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Skylark House Care Home in Horsham. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise your shift team to deliver exceptional care and support to residents
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Administer and record medication, ensuring accurate and timely administration
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and improve services
  • Provide a positive and professional approach, promoting a fun and inclusive environment for residents and staff
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of care planning processes and ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Experience in administering medication or willingness to undertake training
  • Above all, a natural ability to make a positive impact on the lives of others
