About the Role:

Care UK is seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Skylark House care home in Horsham. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supervising your shift to ensure the smooth operation of care services
  • Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to create and deliver effective care plans
  • Administering and recording medication, as well as carrying out risk assessments
  • Working closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs and promote independence
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to develop and improve care services

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Good understanding of care planning processes and ability to administer medication
  • Above all, a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling
