We are seeking a dedicated Health Care Specialist to join our Complex Lives business unit. Our team provides healthcare services to vulnerable individuals in Blackpool, Fylde, and Wyre areas.

The successful candidate will work closely with qualified clinicians, assisting patients with presenting conditions and providing wound care, ECGs, observations, and venepuncture. Additionally, the individual will participate in patient education and health promotion, working towards achieving service KPIs and targets.

A commitment to personal development and willingness to attend relevant training is essential for this role. The ideal candidate should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to diffuse difficult situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support qualified clinicians in assisting patients
  • Provide advice for patients with presenting conditions
  • Participate in patient education and health promotion
  • Work towards achieving service KPIs and targets

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 in health or equivalent
  • Venepuncture certification
  • Wound care experience
  • Basic IT skills
