As a Mental Health Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized plans that address their specific needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to clients struggling with substance misuse
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans to promote client recovery
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and address underlying issues contributing to their substance misuse
  • Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of substance misuse and its effects on mental health
  • Experience working in a similar support role or within the substance misuse sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
