Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist in Community Care to join our Learning Disabilities team. As a key member of our Community Learning Disability Team, you will be responsible for delivering expert clinical practice to clients with complex needs, including those with mental health issues, complex communication needs, and forensic behaviors.

About the Team:

Our team works collaboratively with partners to develop and deliver community-based services that support individuals with learning disabilities. We strive to provide high-quality care that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical practice to clients with complex needs, including those with mental health issues, complex communication needs, and forensic behaviors
  • Develop and implement local clinical and operational practices and procedures
  • Ensure effective deployment of staff and other resources within the Intensive Support Team

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master's degree) or equivalent level of training through experience
  • Evidence of post-basic education to degree level or equivalent level of training through experience
  • Experience working with clients with learning disabilities/mental health issues

Salary: £45,500 - £51,400 per annum
