Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our organisation, including budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, including the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Manage a team of financial analysts and provide guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Highly numerate with a record of success in a financial management role.
  • Experience of leading a team with excellent people management skills.
  • Strong communicator, able to communicate at all levels.
  • Experience in leading and/or influencing organisational change.
  • Ability to work flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders and teams.
  • Highly developed planning and organisational skills in a financial environment.
