Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Physiotherapy Expert to join our Hand Therapy Unit at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational physiotherapy, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to patients with hand and wrist injuries.

As an Occupational Physiotherapy Expert, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to promote optimal recovery and function. You will work closely with our Orthopaedic and Hand surgeons, Rheumatologists, Emergency Department, and local GPs to provide seamless care to patients.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, be registered with the UK Health Care Professions Council, and have evidence of post-registration CPD. They will also possess sound therapeutic and clinical knowledge, as well as membership of the CSP/RCOT and Specialist Interest group(s).

In addition to a strong clinical skillset, the successful candidate will be able to build and develop effective working relationships, motivate staff, and work under pressure to organise and prioritise their workload accordingly. They will also be able to critically appraise their own performance and acknowledge their own needs and limitations, as well as document evidence of continuing professional development in clinical fields relevant to this post.

Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annum
