Support Worker for Students with Complex Needs

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding Ofsted rated SEN School in Bournemouth. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide essential support to students with Autism and other complex needs.
About the RoleThis specialist setting caters for children and young people aged 11-16 with Autism alongside other complex needs. Our school prides itself on providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Providing emotional and academic support to students with complex needs
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
- Supporting students with personal care and daily living skills
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £85.10 - £98.20 per hour, depending on experience, as well as a full-time contract with 32.5 hours per week. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with complex needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- At least one year's experience working with children
- Up-to-date safeguarding training
