About the Job

This dynamic and inclusive SEN school in Bournemouth seeks an experienced SEN Teacher to join their team. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in supporting students with various Special Educational Needs, including Autism.

Your primary responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of students with SEN. You will also work closely with colleagues to develop a comprehensive understanding of each student's requirements and tailor your teaching approach accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience working with students with SEN preferred.
  • Have knowledge of a range of SEN, including Autism, and experience implementing strategies to support these needs.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow as an educator.

The estimated salary for this role is £31,650 - £49,084 annually, reflecting the qualifications and location requirements.
