Role Summary

The Repairs Planner will provide a seamless service to ensure our property operation works are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored for trade persons and external contractors. This consumer-facing role will require you to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate appointments and scheduling resources ensuring that we are maximizing productivity while maintaining a high-quality service to all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the schedule of the responsive and planned works service in accordance with agreed performance standards.
  • Deliver timely and quality services to customers.
  • Report into the Senior Planner and work within the Planning team to provide an effective service and identify ways of improving service.
  • Coordinate the successful completion of daily works orders in conjunction with all direct reports.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless appointment service is provided to customers, including liaising with members of the public in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • General understanding of Call Centre systems and Microsoft applications.
  • Experience of dealing with external and internal customers preferably within a social Housing environment.
  • Knowledge of the risks and hazards associated with asbestos and working with asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and demonstrate the ability to tailor response to suit the customer or situation.
