About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Support Worker to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical staff in the Gastrointestinal Physiology and Pelvic Floor Services Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with diagnostic testing and treatment therapies, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Prepare equipment and materials for patient tests, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the department.
Requirements
  • Healthcare experience in a clinical environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to learn new systems and software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and use initiative to resolve problems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the department and patients.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
