At South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Volunteer Ambulance Liaison Officer in Plymouth.

As a Volunteer Ambulance Liaison Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Hospital Ambulance Liaison Officer (HALO) in managing the smooth transition of patients from incoming ambulance crews into the care of hospital teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and possess a flexible approach to volunteering hours and role demands.

You will also be responsible for maintaining confidentiality, adhering to information governance guidance and policy, and promoting equality and diversity within the organization.

We offer a competitive salary of £11.50 per hour, which includes mileage reimbursement, as well as opportunities for professional development and training.

Please note that this role is non-patient facing, but some patient contact may be required through engagement with ambulance crews and patients upon arrival at hospital.
