Dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant

In this rewarding role, you will work alongside a talented team of professionals to provide exceptional support to a non-verbal student at a primary school in London. Your passion for working with children with additional needs will shine through as you help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:- Foster a sense of independence and confidence in the student by providing tailored support.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENDCo to develop effective learning strategies and activities.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SLCN is essential.
- A good understanding of alternative communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, or assistive technology is necessary.
We prioritize the welfare and safety of our students. All staff members will undergo an enhanced DBS check and receive any necessary training.
£30,000 - £38,000 per annum based on experience. A competitive salary that reflects the significance of your role as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
