We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team in Lewes.

About the Job

In this role, you will assist the Payroll Manager in ensuring smooth and effective payroll services to a large client portfolio. You will also work closely with other departments to provide a comprehensive service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day administration of client payrolls, including RTI submissions and end-of-year reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive service to clients.
  • Keep up to date with PAYE/NIC/Statutory payments and auto-enrolment updates.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-4 years relevant payroll experience, ideally in a bureau setting but open to industry applications.
  • Knowledge of IRIS/payrite & xero systems.
  • Competent in the use of Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines effectively.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
