About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dordon. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving PLC code related issues within our live operational systems. Your expertise will ensure that our systems run smoothly and efficiently, and you will benefit from a competitive salary and a night shift premium.

About You
  • Experience as an Engineer within Automated MHE systems, including a formal qualification in an electrical or mechanical engineering subject (NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent)
  • A good understanding of PLC control system architecture, field control devices, AC/DC motor controls, and Industrial Bus Networks (e.g. Profi bus, ASi)
  • Online code monitoring, modification, and development with Siemens S7 300/400 PLCs and TIA
  • Experience with SCADA and Siemens HMI systems
  • Experience in a warehouse, distribution, production, or FMCG environment
  • Understanding of Control System Communication Protocols (e.g. WCS and WMS systems)
