Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Paediatric Therapy Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to critically ill children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy plans for critically ill children in partnership with families and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop targeted interventions to promote optimal recovery and mobility.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Promote evidence-based practice through participation in research, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
- Broad range of NHS experience, including paediatrics and critical care.
- Evidence of recent CPD relevant to clinical specialty.
- Participation in on-call respiratory physiotherapy rota.
