We are seeking a dedicated English speaking Education Support Assistant to join our team at one of our partner Secondary schools in Carmarthen, working closely with teachers to implement lesson plans and educational activities.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can effectively support students with various needs, including those with autism.

The successful candidate will work approximately 32 hours per week, although this may be negotiable based on individual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing academic support to pupils across different subjects and topics
  • Assisting teachers in creating engaging lesson plans and educational materials
  • Collaborating with staff members to ensure effective student support

To be successful in this position, candidates should have:

  • Prior experience working with children
  • Familiarity with special education practices is beneficial
  • A high level of fluency in the English language
