Unlock Your Potential as a Therapy Support Professional

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our dynamic occupational therapy team at Hywel Dda University Health Board in Glangwilli Hospital, Carmarthenshire.

As a Therapy Support Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering integrated care that promotes faster recovery from illness, supports timely discharge from hospital, and maximizes independent living.

You will work closely with Occupational Therapists to assess and treat individuals with complex healthcare or rehabilitation needs, utilizing clinical reasoning skills to enable you to work independently without immediate direct supervision.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a friendly and supportive team that values supervision, actively encourages staff development, and is committed to excellent patient care and service improvement.

We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual who shares our values:

  • Putting people at the heart of everything we do
  • Working together to be the best we can be
  • Striving to deliver and develop excellent services

In this role, you will have the support of a dedicated team and the opportunity to develop personally and professionally. A relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent, plus a broad range of experience working in a therapy service or equivalent field, is essential for this position.

Able to travel within the community, including between sites in a timely manner, is also a requirement. While speaking Welsh is desirable, English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This is a full-time position, with estimated salary £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including training opportunities and career development support.
