We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Welsh Language Support Professional to join our team at New Directions Education Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of pupils in primary schools across the Carmarthenshire area.

Your responsibilities will include assisting class teachers with lesson planning, delivering lessons and activities in a safe and engaging manner, and encouraging positive behavior and supporting classroom management. You will also be responsible for implementing Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and monitoring their progress.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of the Welsh language and be able to communicate effectively with pupils, teachers, and other stakeholders. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.

We offer a competitive rate of pay, regular and varied supply work, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated and expert Account Manager. We are committed to the protection of children and vulnerable adults, and all applicants must undergo a full enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist class teachers with lesson planning and delivery
