Workforce Adviser

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workforce Adviser to join our Carmarthenshire Operational Workforce Team. The successful candidate will provide generalist operational workforce advice to managers and staff, ensuring services are supported in accordance with operational objectives.

Main Duties

The postholder will take an active role in working with managers across all services to proactively manage sickness absence. They will also support the Workforce Team with disciplinary, Respect and Resolution, and other investigations, cases, and hearings, providing advice and support to line managers within the remit of Health Board policy and employment law.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, evidence of continuing professional development, and up-to-date knowledge of employment law. They will also have generalist HR experience, including disciplinary issues, policy development, and implementation, as well as experience of managing sickness absence and achieving results.
