Workforce Adviser

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Operational Workforce Team, where you will play a key role in providing generalist operational workforce advice to managers and staff. Your expertise will ensure services are supported in accordance with operational objectives, and you will work closely with the Workforce team to deliver workforce objectives.

Main Duties of the Job

You will take an active role in working with managers across all services to proactively manage sickness absence. You will also support the Workforce Team with disciplinary, Respect and Resolution, and other investigations, cases, and hearings, providing advice and support to line managers within the remit of Health Board policy and employment law.

You will advise on employment contracts, entitlements, and national and local NHS terms and conditions. Additionally, you will develop an expertise in employment law and HR best practice.
