Logistics Coordinator Job Description

We are the Brand Machine Group, a global licensing specialist with over 40 years of experience in designing, developing, manufacturing, and selling clothing and accessories worldwide. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our busy and dynamic logistics team in Dunstable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely Outbound orders reports, ensuring all orders are booked, collected, and shipped on time.
  • Monitor and track order aging against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for time and cost.
  • Report carrier performance for all channels on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in developing the Customer Bible specific to Outbound.
  • Maintain carrier relationships for all suppliers.
  • Assist in checking outbound costs for all suppliers.
  • Lead booking in with customers and develop documents.
  • Prepare shipping documents.
  • File, store, and update documents.
  • Create invoices and bills.

Inbound Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate accurate and timely Inbound Trailers/Purchase Orders.
  • Assist with closing systematically all POs.
  • Report all Inbound failures with Sourcing and Finance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Excellent computer literacy with good knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Knowledgeable with logistics software.
  • Ability to work in different environments.

Working Hours:

  • The role is 5 days a week/40 hours.
  • The operations within 3PL are active from Sunday to Friday – Non-Peak and 7 Days Operation in Peak (November and December).
  • The operational hours within 3PL are from 06:30 – 22:00 hours.
  • The Operations Manager will define the shift pattern and working hours accordingly.
  • The role is based out of our warehouse in Dunstable and is a full-time office-based role.
