Retail Events Consultant

Fusion 2K Ltd is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Retail Events Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis for a fixed term of 18 months. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing large and small-scale events, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual requirements.
  • Manage event staff, including briefing and training, to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Process high-volume sales orders and enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage event bookings, including creating reports and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with Fusion Warehouses, external parties, and suppliers to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Provide proactive and reactive customer service support, responding to enquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage event data, including analysis and post-event evaluations, to inform future event strategies.
  • Occasionally provide out-of-hours on-call event support by rotation.
  • Assist with shipping and logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of event materials.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months administration/office experience.
  • Degree educated.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft packages, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or English.
  • Sales background, including retail and recruitment experience.
  • Experience working with and meeting KPIs.
  • Events or logistics experience.
