About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Scheduler to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute daily same-day or next-day forecasts to ensure accurate delivery planning.
  • Plan delivery routes or monitor volume flow to optimize package delivery across the EU.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standard work for the network to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Ensure targets and service deadlines are met, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments to facilitate information flow and resolve potential issues.
  • Conduct research into process improvement initiatives and take real-time decisions to drive strategic growth.
  • Maintain and report up-to-date and accurate statistics, management reports, and analysis.
About the Team

Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. Our team is focused on creating a seamless customer experience through innovative delivery solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Relevant experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR).
  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Previous experience within transportation or logistics.
  • Working experience on programming and coding languages (SQL or Python).
