Registered Nurse Opportunity at The Ashton Care Home

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at The Ashton Care Home, a private care home in Hinckley. Our home specializes in Dementia, Residential, Respite, and Day care for 72 residents.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering clinical excellence and holistic care to our residents. You will work closely with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to design and implement personalized care plans. Your role will involve ensuring accuracy in care documentation, leading with confidence, and facilitating seamless transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ensuring accuracy in care documentation and observing daily interactions and conditions
  • Leading with confidence and guiding the care team to deliver top-notch care
  • Facilitating seamless transitions and overseeing shift handovers
  • Monitoring health and managing specific health needs
  • Administering medications safely and adhering to MAR sheets and protocols
  • Fostering strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Promoting independence and encouraging autonomy in daily activities
  • Acting on feedback and prioritizing resident health and well-being
  • Championing respect and dignity for every resident
  • Encouraging engagement and social interactions
  • Prioritizing safety and maintaining a secure environment
  • Supporting nutrition and hydration, and responding to emergencies

About You:

  • You are a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN
  • You have a passion for care and a dedication to improving the lives of our residents
  • You possess excellent communication skills and a calm, patient demeanor
