Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at The Ashton Care Home, a private care home in Hinckley. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
- Lead and guide your team to deliver exceptional care, promoting a culture of dignity and respect.
- Facilitate seamless transitions and ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor resident health and well-being, managing specific health needs with attention to detail and safety.
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with MAR sheets and protocols.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy and urgency.
- Promote independence and autonomy in daily activities, providing hands-on assistance as needed.
- Act on feedback and prioritize resident health and well-being.
- Champion respect and individuality, advocating for resident needs and preferences.
- Encourage social interactions and activities, enriching the lives of residents and creating a vibrant community.
- Prioritize safety and maintain a secure environment for all.
- Support balanced nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
- Respond to emergencies, utilizing the on-call system and reflective practices to continually improve our care.
About You:
- You are a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
- Care home experience is a plus, but what matters most is your passion for care and dedication to improving the lives of our residents.
- You possess excellent communication skills, connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and needs.
