Job Title: Tax Partner

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically knowledgeable Tax Partner to join our team in Newmarket. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for leading a team of tax accountants and working closely with fellow Partners to manage a portfolio of corporate and personal clients.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of tax accountants and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Work closely with fellow Partners to manage a portfolio of corporate and personal clients.
  • Review and prepare corporation tax computations and workings.
  • Lead advisory work with clients, including corporate tax advisory and planning.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients are benefitting from all business services.
  • Provide training and development for colleagues and team members.
  • Represent the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements:
  • CTA qualified with further accountancy qualifications (STEP, ACA, ACCA, CA) being desirable.
  • Technically proficient, with extensive tax advisory and planning experience.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with good people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
  • Sound attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
