We're seeking a highly skilled Workplace Health and Safety Specialist Senior to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. As a key member of our Safety team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor site performance against set KPIs and develop strategies to improve processes
- Design and implement workplace health and safety programs, including training sessions
- Analyse safety metrics and incident trends to inform resource allocation and risk mitigation
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety laws and regulations
You'll be based on-site at one of our facilities, where you'll work closely with colleagues to identify and mitigate risks. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of health and safety compliance, and you'll be instrumental in driving process improvements.
About the TeamAs part of our Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team, you'll be part of a diverse and dynamic group that plays a critical role in our success. We're passionate about innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, and we're looking for someone who shares our values.
Requirements- A NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ5 level or equivalent qualification
- Experience with UK Environment, Health and Safety legislation
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
- Experience of Lean, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies
- Experience of planning or managing environmentally conscious initiatives
