Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team at Wendreth Court Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring residents' safety and comfort
- Oversee medication administration and provide medical support as needed
- Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Prepare and serve meals, promoting healthy eating habits and social interaction
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Ability to work flexibly, including days, nights, and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
