Occupational Therapist for Children and Young People

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Aspris Children's Services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and therapeutic needs of our students, who are diagnosed with autism and associated learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to support students' physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Provide training and support to staff on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
Requirements
- Registered Occupational Therapist with a BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with children and young people with autism and associated learning difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
