About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Aspris Childrens Services Limited. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with autism and associated learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to support students with autism and learning difficulties
  • Work closely with other therapists, teachers, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement
  • Provide training and support to staff on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children and young people with autism and learning difficulties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
