About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team at Unsted Park School, a residential/day SEN school specialising in the education and care of children and young people with autism and associated learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other therapists and professionals to provide support to students
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to meet the needs of students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure seamless integration of therapy into daily routines
  • Provide training and support to staff on therapy techniques and strategies

Requirements:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children with autism and learning difficulties
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
