The Position

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the group's supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Work with purchasing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and coordinate with purchasing and warehousing teams to execute inventory management strategies to balance supply and demand.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align supply chain activities with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and disruptions to the supply chain and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact.
  • Performance Management and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators to measure the performance of the supply chain function and monitor and analyze them regularly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in progressively responsible roles.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in supply chain management is a plus.
