About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Flooid as an Assistant General Counsel, where you will play a key role in providing legal support to the Company. As a member of the legal team, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational legal advice to the business, working closely with the General Counsel: EMEA and the Sales and Account Executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the Company on a wide range of matters, including software and IT contracts, professional services, and third-party partnerships.
  • Work closely with the General Counsel: EMEA and the Sales and Account Executives to ensure effective negotiation of contracts and the onboarding of new business.
  • Support the drafting and implementation of Company policies, including compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Take a key supporting role in governance and compliance activities, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and ISO9001.
  • Support the Supplier Management team with onboarding of suppliers, including negotiating contracts and providing supporting documentation.
Requirements
  • Qualified solicitor and admitted to practice law in the United Kingdom.
  • 4 years + relevant in-house or industry experience.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Requests, Professional Services Agreements, SaaS and Subscription Agreements.
  • Experience working with third parties (distributors, subcontractors etc.) and referral agreements.
  • Previous exposure to multi-jurisdictional and cross-border international contracts.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic in-house IT environment.
