Job Overview

Morson Talent is seeking an experienced Aerospace Systems Development Expert to join their team. As a Flight Control Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the development of actuation and landing gear systems for a challenging first flight timescale.

Estimated Salary: £52,780 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domain knowledge and expertise in actuation and landing gear systems to support the development of new programs.
  • Collaborate with key suppliers to identify and engineer solutions to meet challenging first flight timescales and subsequent spiral development.
  • Support the development of other engineers in the actuation and landing gear domains.
  • Align and consistency of approach with regard to product design/development across the project(s).
  • Creation and management/prosecution of Platform level requirements.
  • Configuration control of all design artefacts through to design release.
  • Cordination/management of deviations, waivers, WQNs and SPRs.
  • Collation of evidence in support of product release, including creation of any Air Vehicle SoD, CoD and limitations.
  • Interfacing with CEM, System Delivery Units and Air Functions to ensure appropriate to support to Integration activities across all Falconworks Programmes.
  • Interfacing with PEMs/PTMs to ensure appropriate Engineering effort to delivery of all Falconworks Programmes.

Requirements:

  • Capable of gaining a UK MOD Security Clearance to SC level.
  • IR35 compliant role.
