Job Description:

As a Metrology Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects, working closely with our Engineering Excellence Team.

Your expertise in complex aluminium and iron sand casting for automotive, motorsport, and aerospace sectors will be invaluable in this position.

Key responsibilities include developing advanced manufacturing solutions using state-of-the-art technologies, focusing on lightweight, high-integrity casting techniques that support green energy and electrification.

You will be responsible for writing CMM programs from both 2D and 3D data using relevant software, utilising metrology techniques to ensure verifiable results following specified procedures.

A good working knowledge of measurement software, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and highly competent skills in Microsoft Office are essential requirements.

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models, with a strong understanding of GD&T.

Familiarity with inspection of cast/machined parts while employing a wide range of measurement techniques is crucial.
