Automotive Coating Technician Job

Major Recruitment Telford seeks a dedicated Automotive Coating Technician to join our team in Telford on a permanent basis. This position comes with a competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000 annually.

About the Role

  • Guarantee a steady workload for production team members
  • Advocate for health and safety best practices
  • Work closely with team leaders to manage department operations
  • Supervise the team when team leader is away
  • Collaborate with colleagues on quality control initiatives
  • Recognize and address employee training needs
  • Regularly participate in 5S and health and safety assessments
  • Support in evaluating team member performance
  • Improve operational efficiency by utilizing real-time booking
  • Refine color change processes

Key Requirements

  • Significant experience collaborating within teams
  • Background working with coated automotive parts
  • Strong attention to detail for error detection
  • Familiarity with SAP system

Desirable Expertise

  • Prior knowledge of rolling mills and paint manufacturing lines
  • Power Press and Slinging/Crane Certificates
