Join Our Team as a Metrology Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Technician to join our team as a Metrology Engineer. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Telford, Shropshire.

About the Role

As a Metrology Engineer, you will be responsible for writing CMM programs from both 2D and 3D data using relevant software. You will also use metrology techniques to ensure verifiable results following specified procedures.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £75 per hour, plus a shift allowance of 20%. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive pension contribution, holiday allowance, workwear and PPE provided, health options, and free on-site parking.

Requirements
  • A good working knowledge of measurement software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of inspection of cast/machined parts whilst employing a wide range of measurement techniques.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models along with a strong understanding of GD&T.
