About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Transformation Lead to join our team at the NHS Staffordshire & Stoke On Trent Integrated Care Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to our organisation, working in collaboration with all partners across the Integrated Care System (ICS) to support the statutory core responsibility of ICBs to ensure that system-wide accessible high-quality, safe palliative and end-of-life care is available for adults, children, and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the ICS and identify and deliver the ICB's statutory responsibilities for PEoLC in line with NHS England's Statutory Guidance for ICBs.
  • Lead, coordinate, and project manage the implementation of strategies and policies.
  • Undertake partnership working with statutory and non-statutory partners working within the field of palliative care and end-of-life.
  • Work across the whole economy to redesign, modernise, and improve services.
  • Coproduce plans with people with lived experience and partners to improve outcomes and experience for patients and their carers.
  • Communicate internally and externally with partners at all levels of the system.
  • Oversee and deliver the Palliative Care and End of Life transformation plans for the system and reporting into the programme board on a regular basis to inform on progress and management and mitigation of risk.
