You will be working in a team to support key financial operations across the Community Care Group. Based in either Exeter or Barnstaple, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, contributing to the smooth running of financial systems, and supporting the broader finance team in achieving its goals. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be part of a team working under the Finance Directorate, supporting the Community Care Group in various accounting and financial tasks. Working with the Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing the monthly closedown process with the Community Care Group and then forecasting the outturn position.
  2. Providing timely, high quality financial information to operational and clinical staff.
  3. Communicating with senior leaders, providing expert advice, guidance and challenge on financial matters.
  4. Supporting the business planning process which includes business case development and developing saving plans.
  5. Line management responsibilities for other Business Partnering staff within the Community Care Group team.

Your role will also involve attending relevant Community Care Group Committees and Sub Committees, which includes answering any detailed questions on financial performance as required.
