Finance Business Partner - Exeter / Devon / Somerset / Remote - £50,000

We are seeking a highly experienced, commercially astute Finance Business Partner to join our team at Trial Balance Consulting. The successful candidate will work closely with our Financial Controller and support our senior management team in a broad and interesting role that is highly likely to develop and grow with the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems, business partnering, and management reporting, with the ability to implement and develop modern accounting systems to facilitate rapid growth. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing financial systems for the next phase of business growth
  2. Business partnering with senior management to drive commercial decisions
  3. Providing detailed management reporting with full commentary
  4. Implementing and developing modern accounting systems
  5. Balance sheet reporting and control
  6. Implementing suitable controls and processes
  7. Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with external accountants
  8. Leading project accounting initiatives
  9. Financial analysis and reporting
