This role involves designing and developing innovative fixtures and tools for new products, collaborating with estimating and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams, and maintaining site layouts to ensure optimal organisation and efficiency.

What You Will Bring:

  • A degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in an engineering or science discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing fixtures and tools using 3D CAD software, preferably Solid Works.
  • Proficiency in 2D software packages and a solid understanding of technical drawings and drawing standards.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including metal stamping, machining, and welded assemblies.
  • (Preferred) Experience with forming FEA for metal stampings and CAM software for CNC machining, laser cutting, or press brake.
