We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third-Party Development Manager to join our Asset Management Team at BEAR Scotland. As the main point of contact with Transport Scotland, you will be responsible for liaising with developers and providing advice on planning applications that impact on the trunk roads.
Main Responsibilities:- Liaise with developers and Transport Scotland on planning applications and provide advice on suitability.
- Assist with applications requiring transport appraisal/assessment, local development plans, and appeal processes.
- Provide a coordinated response from BEAR Scotland design teams for developments requiring checks under the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges.
- Assist Transport Scotland with preparation and administration of minutes or letters of agreement.
- Ensure monitoring and road safety audits of third-party developments are performed and reported in accordance with Transport Scotland requirements.
- Demonstrable experience working on a trunk road maintenance contract or a similar role for a road authority.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
- Full driving license.
