About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team at Ambient Support Limited. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to gain greater independence and improve their well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social and emotional support to individuals, either at home or in their local community
  • Support residents with their personal care, including personal hygiene needs if required
  • Assist with shopping and budgeting
  • Build and maintain relationships with friends and family of our residents
  • Perform household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Accompany individuals on outings, such as walks, meals, and other activities
Requirements
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, including Autism (full training will be provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a calm and caring manner
  • Computer literacy
  • Car driver desirable but not essential
