About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Support Worker to join our team in Felthorpe. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing social and emotional support to individuals with complex learning disabilities, enabling them to gain greater independence and improve their well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social and emotional support to individuals in their homes and local community
  • Support with personal care, including personal hygiene needs if required
  • Assist with shopping and budgeting
  • Build and maintain relationships with friends and family of our residents
  • Perform household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Accompany individuals on outings, such as walks, meals, and activities
Requirements
  • Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, including Autism (full training provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Car driver desirable but not essential
